Video surveillance: C-MOR new version 5 with MPEG4 support
After several months of development and testing time, za-internet GmbH is launching C-MOR in version 5. The new version now supports pure MPEG4 and H.264 IP cameras. Customers with valid software subscription can purchase the new version with 50% discount.
Stuttgart / Hechingen (Germany), December 6, 2016. The video surveillance system C-MOR is now available in version 5. All product models, video server appliances as well as virtual servers are now equipped with a large number of new features and improvements. The main improvement is the support of MPEG4 / H.264 cameras. Previously, C-MOR supported only JPEG / MJPEG cameras. This allows C-MOR to be compatible with most IP camera models available worldwide.
In addition to improved camera support, an SSL management interface was added to the new version. C-MOR users are now able to upload SSL certificates themselves, ensuring their own data encryption.
The Linux system is now equipped with a current kernel version 4. This makes current server systems more effective and supports the latest controllers and hardware components.
C-MOR V5 is also available as a USB stick installation for direct installation on server hardware. Every computer savvy person can quickly build his own video surveillance server with C-MOR.
The purchase prices have not changed although there are many innovations. The C-MOR entry-level version for 3 cameras still costs 235.62 Euro incl. VAT and software updates for 1 year. The software subscription will be calculated in the future based on the number of licensed cameras. The price per camera is 10.71 Euro per year.
The current C-MOR version 4 will be maintained until November 30, 2017. Customers with active software subscription version 4 can use the 50% discount advantage to purchase the current version 5.
